Anca Bucur

Sports have always been a part of my life. At the age of 4, I first stepped into the ballet hall in my hometown of Tîrgu-Mureș, and over time, I discovered that this was my great dream: to become a great champion.

It was my mother who discovered my passion for sports, and my family has supported me unconditionally throughout this adventure. At the age of 8, to my delight, I was admitted to the National Sports College ‘Cetate Deva.’ That’s where my journey towards success began, I could say, because it was there that I discovered myself and surpassed my limits.
I was part of the national aerobics gymnastics team and won the bronze medal at the Aerobics Gymnastics World Championships.

My gymnastics career was supposed to end around the age of 18, but I continued doing sports and discovered a new joy: being a coach. So, I studied this profession, and since 2008, I’ve been teaching different classes: aerobics and cycling.
Because I missed the stage and competition like crazy, in 2010, I enrolled in the prestigious fitness competition in America: Miss Fitness Universe. It was the most complex journey that shaped my character and taught me to have complete confidence in my abilities.

I currently hold 7 Miss Fitness Universe titles.
I am a devoted family person, and my two children, along with my husband, completely fulfill me.
My life motto is:
‘Faith moves mountains.’
